Re: GDN CELEBRATES COMPENDIUM LAUNCH

TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2016 WAS A DAY OF CELEBRATION FOR GDN! The SCATTERED AND GATHERED: A Global Compendium of Diaspora Missiology was officially launched at a truly global event of over 260 leaders from 60 countries at the Global Church for a Global World Conference in Hong Kong. All available copies of the Compendium at the event were sold out!

Since then there have been several public presentations of the Compendium at strategic Christian leadership gatherings – Asia Missions Association Triennial Convention in Manila, Philippines; Christian & Missionary Alliance Canada General Assembly, Calgary Canada and the Korean Diaspora Forum in Paris, France. Lausanne Catalyst for Diaspora, Dr. Sadiri Joy Tira will make a presentation at the Asian Theological Association Triennial General Assembly, July 25- 29 in Seoul, Korea.

The Compendium will serve as textbook in advancing Diaspora Missiology in theological institutions affirmed in the Singapore Resolution released at the Diaspora Missiology Educators Consultation, March 2-5, Singapore. (see www.globaldiasporanetwork.org)

THE GDN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE HAD THEIR FIRST FACE-TO-FACE MEETING since the Global Diaspora Forum 2015 (March 24-27). During the three days we cherished rich fellowship, prolong times of prayer and reflection, evaluated the activities of the past 12 months and charted elements of a PREFERRED FUTURE. (Vice Chair, Dr. Soon Geun Lee was unable to join us due to a crisis in his ministry context.)

PRAYER MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE
